Word Art Wednesday
So here is my first contest entry and let me tell you, the scripture couldn't be more appropriate for me. I try not to worry, but I can be one of those people who worry about worrying. The scripture this week for Word Art Wednesday is from Philippians 4 and Paul tells us to "Be anxious for nothing...". What a great comfort to focus on daily. Here is the card I created to show this scripture. I was thinking about the scripture in Matthew 6 and Luke 12 where Jesus tells us to consider the lilies of the field who do not toil or spin and yet the Lord takes perfect care of them. The flowers on my card aren't lilies, but they are some beautiful digital flowers from Pixel Scrapper that I have stacked together to create a pretty arrangement.

Beautiful color combination. I haven't figured out yet how you got the text to be colored yet, but it looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Faye. I did the text over again in Photoshop because I couldn't figure out how to get a good image from the Word Art Wednesday website. I used a couple of different fonts and styles and I was able to match the text color to the flowers. It took a while to get the different fonts to be a reasonable facsimile of the posted one.
DeleteYour art is just lovely, and I'm SO grateful that you've stopped by this week to fellowship and share with us. I look forward to seeing more of your art and getting to know you better. Thanks so much for joining this week's challenge. May God bless you as you create and share the things you create.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Karen
